Painting of Saikrishnan

The initiative to create a painting of Sai Krishnan came from his friend Paul Copson who is an international art dealer and owns galleries in the United Kingdom and the United States Paul also has a home by the sea in Kerala, South India.
An approach to paint Sai in performance was made by Paul to Jamel Akib who he knew has enormous understanding of music and dance in his paintings. Jamel’s wife has a senior working relationship with the Royal Ballet in London and she too recognized Sai’s brilliance as a dancer.
Jamel delighted in painting Sai and it’s hoped that further works will follow in the future.
